From 26 to 29 January 2026, Prof. Dr. Erika de Wet and Univ.-Ass. Vivienne Sailer were guests at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
On 26 January 2026, Prof. Dr. Erika de Wet (University of Graz) and Prof. Dr. Charlotte Kreuter-Kirchhof (Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf) held a joint doctoral seminar at Mickeln Castle. The doctoral students of the Düsseldorf Institute for Energy Law and the Chair, as well as Univ.-Ass. Vivienne Sailer, presented their doctoral projects and discussed their theses. The doctoral seminar concluded with a convivial dinner (see also Gemeinsames Doktorandenseminar auf Schloss Mickeln).
During the course of their stay, Prof. Dr. Erika de Wet gave a presentation at the HHU Faculty Talk and, together with Prof. Dr. Charlotte Kreuter-Kirchhof (HHU Düsseldorf), Prof. Dr. Katharina Lugani (HHU Düsseldorf), Prof. Dr. Johann Justus Vasel (HHU Düsseldorf) and Prof. Dr. Thomas Garber (JKU Linz). The HHU students presented a series of highly topical issues from international law, the law on international civil procedure and conflict of laws.
The trip concluded with a moot court workshop with the Telders team from HHU Düsseldorf. Prof. Dr. Erika de Wet and Univ.-Ass.
