Public international law salon

Renowned international law experts discuss issues related to the Corona crisis and international law!

On 4th June 2020 from 5.00-6.30pm the first digital public international law salon concerning the topic “the corona crisis and public international law” will be held via Skype for Business! The event will be held in German!

The salon will address interesting topics such as (only excerpts): How can cooperation function, if states are closing off themselves and traffic and travel flows are being discontinued? To what extent can human rights be protected when implementing interfering COVID-19 measures?

The following experts discuss various subfields of the topic:  Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Erika de Wet, LL.M. (Harvard), PD Mag. Dr. Matthias C. Kettemann, LL.M. (Harvard), Univ.-Prof.in Mag.a Dr.in Iris Eisenberger, M.Sc. (LSE), Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Michael Waibel, M.Sc. (LSE), LL.M. (Harvard), MA (Cantab) as well as ambassador Dr. Helmut Tichy.
