Zwei neue Honorarprofessoren an der REWI Graz - Rechtswissenschaften (uni-graz.at)
On 02.11.2021 the official awarding of the honorary professorship to Univ.-Prof. i.R. Dr. Gerhard Hafner and Mag. Dr. Andreas Kumin took place in a joint ceremony in the University of Graz's assembly hall.
The ceremony was led by the Vice-Rector for Research and Promotion of Young Academics, Prof. Dr. Joachim Reidl, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Christoph Bezemek, BA, LL.M. (Yale), whom we would like to thank for their participation and greetings.
Furthermore, the two heads of the Institutes for International and European Law (Univ.-Prof. Dr. Erika De Wet, LL.M. (Harvard) and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Folz) gave a detailed overview of the outstanding professional and personal careers of Univ.-Prof. i.R. Dr. Gerhard Hafner and Mag. Dr. Andreas Kumin as renowned personalities in their respective fields of law.
In their subsequent lectures, the two newly appointed honorary professors dealt with the enforcement of international and European law as well as the respective current challenges. he transcript of the lectures can be found here. The ceremony was followed by a reception.
