There is a war going on - a few hundred kilometres away from Vienna. Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine has deeply shaken the whole of Europe. The EU is reacting to the brutal aggression with sanctions - but how consistent is the European peace and security policy? Has the EU taken too few joint peace and security measures during its long period of peace? What role do neutral states like Austria or Ireland play in such a state of emergency? We will put these questions to experts and discuss Austrian, European and substantive peace and security policy.
