The Institute of International Law and International Relations congratulates the winners of the first REWI Research Awards!

The Research Award of the Faculty of Law was established this year to honour outstanding achievements in the field of research. The REWI Uni Graz research awards for 2021 were presented to the following members of the "Mittelbaukurie", including, to our particular delight, some members of the Institute as well as the Uni-ETC, in three categories

English monograph or publication of an English volume:

  • Benedikt Harzl: Unrecognised Entities: Perspectived in International, European and Constitutional Law (Brill Nijhoff 2021).

Article in an anglophone journal:

  • Anna-Maria Anderwald: Rising Inequality in Western Tax Systems: Austria as an Example of the Transformation from Income-Based Taxation to Consumption-Based Taxation, (2021) 75 (Bulletin for International Taxation).

Project

  • Lisa Heschl und Gerd Oberleitner: OEAD Project Building a post-war justice system in Kosovo: The independence, impartiality, fairness and accountability of the internationalized judiciary.

The Institute of International Law would like to congratulate all award winners on their outstanding research achievements!
