Philip Bittner
Philip Bittner is a member of the Austrian diplomatic service and heads the Department for General International Law at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs. He has served abroad in New York, Prague and Brussels. His work focuses on the law of treaties, diplomatic law, state immunity, the law of international organisations and sanctions.
Since October 2026, he is also a Practice Professor at the Institute of International Law and International Relations at the University of Graz.
