The Institute of International Law and International Relations is pleased to welcome Prof. Charles Jalloh, member of the United Nations International Law Commission (ILC) and Prof. Harmen Van der Wilt (Professor Emeritus, University of Amsterdam) for a workshop in Graz on 23 May 2022. During the half-day workshop, Prof. Charles Jalloh will give a presentation on whether judicial decisions and the teachings of the most highly qualified publicists can be considered "sources" of international law. Prof Harmen van der Wilt will be the discussant with insights from international criminal law. The presentations will be followed by a half-hour lunch break as well as a round table discussion. The event will be organized in hybrid format with the number of in-person participants capped at 30.
