Stimulating: Friendly Rounds in Graz

The University of Graz' Telders Team hosted the University of Tartu's Team for friendly rounds.

Since the release of this year’s case at the beginning of November 2025, the team members of this year’s Telders International Law Moot Court Competition have been working intensively on research and developing the lines of argument for each side. Following the submission of the written statements in early March, the preparation phase for the oral part of the competition began. The knowledge previously acquired is now being deepened and will ultimately be presented during a simulated court hearing in the final rounds in The Hague.

As part of these preparations, the Telders Team of the University of Graz welcomed the team from the University of Tartu to Graz from 26 April 2026 to 27 April 2026. Over the course of two intensive days, court proceedings were simulated with the participation of various judges. Prof. Erika De Wet, Mag. Natascha Gojkovic, Mag. Rareș-David Chioreanu and Kertu-Liis Rannik kindly made themselves available for this purpose. The questions raised during these sessions and the subsequent feedback enabled the participants to further refine their arguments and gain valuable experience for the upcoming final.

In addition to the intensive pleading sessions, there was, of course, the opportunity for personal interaction.
